How Do Blogs Help With Sales?





Blogging may not initially seem to be an obvious way to boost sales, but it is in fact a very good way to do so. Blogs are a creative outlet which, when used for content marketing purposes, can showcase brand content in an appealing way to your customers (and also potential new customers).

So now you're familiar with the blogging process, let's have a look at the ways it can drive your business sales.



Attracting New Clients/Customers 🤝

As briefly mentioned in the intro of this blog, you can appeal to your customers through blogging. It is a visually pleasing way to showcase your business content. But not only does this keep your customers engaged, it is also a great way to attract new customers/clients to view your website. To do this successfully, you need to ensure you're writing your blog posts in a way which will appeal to your target market and target their interests as well as introducing them to what your business is all about. This will in turn drive more traffic to your website, and what does more traffic mean? You guessed it, more sales💸.

Calls To Action 🗣

CTA- calls to action- are a great way to drive traffic to your website, and these are great to include in all of your blogposts. You want to include your websites and youre socials as hyperlinks and use direct language, such as "Follow our Instagram" or "Subscribe to our Youtube here". You can also use pop ups to show any special offers and products you may be offering at the time, so again it's a great way to gain the clicks by spiking their interest. By doing so, you are enticing your blog audience to view your businesses other platforms which again, creates more traffic and what does more traffic mean? Say it with me.. more sales💸.



Increase SEO 💻

By having consistent blog posts, you are automatically improving your SEO. With regular blog posts, you have an increased chance of the keys words you are using boosting your Google ranking. For example, if you are a beauty brand with a blog, using relevant key works such as "beauty", "health" and "lifestyle" will increase SEO and will also have an advantage over sites who only update their websites once in a blue moon. So again, with increased SEO as a result of blogging, we have, you guessed it... more sales💸.

Build Community 👩🏻‍🤝‍👨🏽

With a blog, you have the opportunity to build a community. This is achieved through being actively interactive with your blog. You can connect on a one to one basis between both you and the customers, as well as encouraging chatrooms between all of your customers themselves. In all walks of life, it is a nice feeling to be welcomed into a community, not just in the business world. So, adding this personal touch with your blog is going to improve customer satisfaction. And customer satisfaction leads to.... more sales💸.

Build Trust 🗣

Building trust is an important aspect to consider in all aspects of your content marketing strategy, but of course we are going to look at how blogging does this. So, blogging is a way to showcase your expert knowledge of your field, if your readers can get the sense that you know what you're talking about, they're instantly going to trust your brand more. Also, there are other was to achieve this, such a getting guest bloggers and even celebrities to endorse your blog posts. Again, this builds you some more trust between customer and client. If you have more people reading your blog because they trust your expertise you're going to get... say it with me one more time... more sales💸.
